Putting the community in community banking.

We'd be nothing if it wasn't for our customers and our communities. Period. They're the reason we make the decisions we do, and the reason why we give time and money to support local people, businesses, and organizations. Being locally-owned and independent, we get to do right by our neighbors by following our conscience -- not directives from a corporate office located hundreds or thousands of miles away. We are committed to long-term community building because thriving neighborhoods are good for everyone.

We're not just involved. We're invested.

Volunteerism is in our blood. From the senior managers who roll up their sleeves for community service projects, to directors who donate medical or professional services, to employees who plan and host fundraising events, our team is filled with individuals who have a passion for helping others. Beyond that, we love connecting with people in the community -- which is why you see Citizens Bank at so many local events.

While we enjoy giving our time, we understand that local non-profits also need funds to support the work they do in the communities. That's why we contribute over $100,000 annually in the form of corporate donations, community sponsorships, and special events. Our employees also band together for charity dress down days and fundraising food days, which raise thousands of dollars each year.

We're always on the lookout for new causes we can support in our communities. Our Charitable Giving Program and Charitable Contribution Application detail the information we need before we consider financial support for an organization.
