How to Spot a Scam [U.S. Social Security Administration]
Fraudulent Texts & Spoof Websites
posted 5/20/2025

On Monday, May 19th, we started receiving reports of suspicious texts being sent to our customers. The texts include links to what appears to be a digital banking log-in website page. Please see the images below. Please be aware these are from a scammer impersonating Citizens Bank.

A few things to keep in mind:
  • DO NOT click on the text link or enter your digital banking credentials to any website pages that resembles the example shown below
  • The real log in page for our digital banking is located at go.citizensbankwi.bank/login
  • Slow down and go with your instincts! If you receive a message that doesn't seem right for whatever reason, it probably is a scam.
  • Unfortunately, it is very easy for scammers to use logos they take off of company websites to create their own fraudulent, lookalike websites or messages
  • You can always call us at 262-363-6500 or send us a secure message through digital banking if you have a question about your account activity
